How to Measure Your Neck Size

Measuring your neck size is simple with a soft measuring tape. Wrap the tape around the base of your neck to determine the size. If you don't have a soft measuring tape, you can use a yardstick, ruler, or a stiff metal tape measure instead. In this case, wrap a ribbon around the base of your neck, mark where the ends meet, and then lay the ribbon flat against the yardstick or metal tape measure to determine your neck size.
